What are Medicom Toys Kubrick Figures?

Kubricks are stylized mini figures manufactured by Japanese toy company, Medicom Toys. The Kubrick figure is distinguished by its block-like sculpt that is similar to the Lego figures of the past. The body of Kubricks are a very simple human form with little detail. There are typically six points of articulation on a single Kubrick figure. These allow the figures to move at the waist, head, and at each arm and leg of the Kubrick figure.

Sizes of Medicom Kubricks:

Medicom Kubrick figures come in 3 different sizes... 100%, 400% and 1000%. The 100% Kubrick figures stand approximately 6 centimeters tall. The 400% Kubricks are 24 centimeters tall and the 1000% Kubrick figures stand a towering 60 centimeters tall.

Kubricks are Designer Toys from a Big Company:

Kubricks are typically considered designer toys even though they are manufactured by very large Japanese toy company, Medicom Toys. Most Kubricks have all the characteristics to make them “designer”. Kubricks are usually produced as limited edition figures (usually less than 2000 figures per run). Once a certain Kubrick figure is sold out, no more are produced.
