Frank Kozik - Designer of Urban Vinyl Toys, Designer Figures, & Concert Posters

Frank Kozik was born in Spain and found himself moving across the “big pond” at the tender age of 14. The Kozik family settled in Austin, Texas and in a very short time, Frank Kozik discovered the great punk music scene in Austin. Initially enamored by the lively punk crowd and the excitement of the live music shows, Frank became an instant fan. He quickly began designing concert promotion posters for his favorite Austin bands. Almost immediately, word of the Frank Kozik concert posters spread and he was designing posters all over Austin. Since that time, Kozik has done album cover art for a number of rock music acts like the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Neil Young, Sonic Youth, Janes Addition, George Clinton, and Green Day. Kozik has done over 60 gallery shows worldwide, with multiple exhibits in Tokyo and London. Kozik has also done graphic design for dozens of major companies and produced at least two major music videos.

In recent years, Frank Kozik has become even more famous for his designer toys and vinyl figure art. Kosik has designed a huge number of vinyl figures and is now regarded as one of the leading designer toy designers in the world. The first Kozik vinyl figure he designed was the Black Smorkin Labbit around 2001. Since then he has teamed up numerous times with leading designer toy and vinyl figure manufactures like Kid Robot (United States), Toy2R (Hong Kong) and others. Some of the Kozik figure creations include some the most popular vinyl figures on the planet like the Smorkin' Labbits, the Hate Dunny, Dr. Bomb and more. He is currently one of the most prolific and popular designers in the genre. At this point in Frank Kozik’s career, he now has the freedom and backing to produce almost any new designer toy or vinyl figure he can imagine up.
